Summary: Nearly two months have passed since the night Sara and Nick finally gave in to all their built up feelings in Icebox Canyon. Is Nick satisfied with the decision he made? Does Sara still wonder if Grissom could have given her the life she wanted? How is Mandy coping with the loss of what she considered a fairytale romance with Nick? Do Nick and Sara really have a true emotional connection or is it all lust and uncontrollable urges?

 

AN: Sara reveals why she is in Vegas.....but does Nick agree that it's a good idea?

Summary: Nick brings Sara home to Texas to meet his family for the first time. Sara finally finds herself a family but as days pass she sees a life that she isn't entirely ready to face. While Nick finds comfort and happiness in a place he never expected.  

A/N: This story was originally started over a year ago with an intent that is no longer there. I ran into a stopping point after 9 chapters and just now came up with an idea of where to go with this story. The first 9 chapters are a Snickers pairing but that ship is going to change when the 10th chapter is posted in a few days. Please enjoy :)
