Welcome to the new alternate universe, CSI:NY Nightshift. The characters you know and love, tweaked to be a little bit darker, and a little bit more fun, at least in my opinion. It's created by limmenel and I, and this is the first fic. It explains the history of Danny, who's our central character. It's fairly important to read this first, but stand-alones will probably be forthcoming. Anyway, this is for limmenel, because I don't know who came up with the idea for the 'verse, but whichever of us it was, we're obviously cracked.
