Nope, not French (though I shan't lie to you; with any luck I'll be a legal French citizen within the decade!). I've been speaking it for about five years. Took the classes.

You want to move to France. Well, I hope you are a confident driver - everything they say about French drivers is true, you know. They can smell your fear and run all over you (literally) if you show the slightest bit of hesitation. *g*

Oh, yes. I visited Paris last summer and I had the, ah... privilege of seeing some of the Parisian drivers.

I intend on taking the Metro everywhere.

Anyway, France must be one of the worst experiences for a driver, so taking the Metro is probably the best solution. And the cheaper one, too. *g*
