Oh my god, please tell me Horatio is joking about those condom marketing slogans. But I loved the sex scene. There are too little first time sex scenes out there that haven't fallen prey to the totally stupid 'staring into each other's eyes while confessing their undying love' stereotype.

Thankfully, I made those slogans up. However, a recent trip to CVS/Pharmacy has proven that the real ones aren't that much better...

And ugh, I know. I hate overly sentimental bullshit like that. Can't it be apparent that they love each other without the *hasdgushgsuhiloffyoooo* nonsense?

But... noooo. Actually, as long as it's well-written, I don't much care if it's a happy ending or a tragic one. Statistically, Euopeans like tragic endings more than Americans (who largely prefer a mushy, happy ending). Maybe that statistic is out of context, but you don't find many mainstream American-made movies that end horribly tragically. I still want Nigel to stay, though.

Question: Do they have cute cartoon condoms on the packages over there? There is this one brand here that's got a brightly coloured cartoon condom with a huge satisfied smirk on its face on the (otherwise black) package. I always thought it was a great way to ease some tension (especially if it's a new relationship and still testing the waters) if you've got something to laugh at.

I can't say I pay much attention to the condoms, but what I can assure you is that if they are cutesy-cartoony, it's not to ease tensions. It's probably just to get a younger crowd.

Interesting statistics, btw. I enjoy being an anomaly; I prefer surprise endings. Unfortunately, Warehouse won't be one. *Tear.*
